Out of her Tree House! Introducing… Platypusfile of Tallahassee, Florida!

Miss Chatty has always loved nature. She loves the grass between her toes and the smell of fresh wild flowers growing in the forest. Makes her want to throw a petunia in her hair, and dance around in some snazzy bottoms she found at Collective Clothing. But with all of the amazing qualities that nature offers, Miss Chatty’s favorite is how she can reminisce childhood and how much she loved climbing trees and scraping up her pretty little knees. This is why Miss Chatty has fallen desperately in love with Platypusfile, for all groovy colors and playful prints Miss Janae Easton creates. Miss Chatty feels as carefree as a child when she can admire Platypusfile’s Woodland Dolls, she really should have had one growing up! After all, every little girl deserves to have a special dolly.

Here birdy, birdy!

Janae uses some her favorite materials paper, cloth, pens, gocco print, wood, recycled clothing, and used books to create fun eclectic prints, whimsical birdy pillows, beautiful hair clips, scarves and almost anything you can imagine.

Platypusfile loves the honesty and imperfection of the handmade movement, and is so excited to join other crafters with the same values. Miss Chatty cannot wait to introduce you to this playful artist.

Platypusfile teaches us a very valuable lesson: Grown ups can have imaginations! Tie a ribbon around your finger, or write a note down in your little black book, whatever you do, don’t ever forget it!

Keep dreaming big,
Miss Chatty
